MGB GT Supercharged

1972

Another project, another brief: build a stylish and effective daily-driven sports car while developing — rather than disguising — the original MGB philosophy.

Modern and traditional hardware are blended throughout the car. The upgrades are deliberately discreet, giving the GT the reliability, drivability and performance expected from a much newer machine without losing its 1970s cabin and road manners.

The rebuilt 18V-series B-engine is enlarged to 1,845 cc and fed by a compact Eaton supercharger. Concealed electronic fuel injection and mapped ignition keep the engine bay clean and period in spirit.
