MGB GT Sebring

1979

This late rubber-bumper MGB GT arrived as a very tired shell, but underneath it was the right foundation for a road-going Sebring-inspired build.

Corrosion meant rebuilding the body from the ground up, along with a full engine overhaul. During the restoration the shell was converted from right- to left-hand drive and fitted with Sebring-style bodywork.

A compact air-conditioning installation was engineered around the standard engine layout, adding modern comfort without cluttering the cabin or compromising the classic GT character.
