This installation plays with the contrast between nature and rust, life and decay, using a complete car body as a piece of landscape sculpture.

The Ford Vedette's soft roofline and broad flanks already carry a slightly airborne, post-war optimism. Fabricated fender skirts exaggerate that shape, pushing it towards a 1950s vision of the future.

With the engine and mechanical hardware removed, the shell is no longer pretending to be a restored car. It becomes an object defined by proportion, oxidation and the way the garden gradually grows around it.
