Steelcaster
Metal-bodied Telecaster
The Steelcaster takes the hard, functional outline of a Telecaster and filters it through the visual language of pre-war aluminium racing machinery.
A timber core provides a familiar structural base, then formed metal panels wrap the body to create a hollow, fabricated skin. The construction is left visible through seams, fasteners and polished surfaces.
The result still reads immediately as a working Telecaster, but close up it belongs just as much to a coachbuilder's bench as it does to a guitar workshop.
