A cantilevered staircase reduces a substantial steel structure to a sequence of apparently floating treads.

Each step is fixed at one end only. The load-bearing steelwork disappears inside the purpose-built wall and tread assemblies, leaving no visible stringer or secondary support.

Exchangeable tread finishes allow the staircase to evolve with the interior, while concealed lighting can emphasise the gap beneath each step without compromising the clean fabrication.
