This console began as a genuine control-surface section from a Dassault Flamant — an aircraft part whose rivets, curves and light alloy construction deserved to stay visible.

The flap was stripped, cut, dressed and progressively polished by hand. Hours of filing and buffing brought the aluminium to a deep mirror finish while preserving enough of the original fabrication to show where it came from.

A restrained welded-steel frame carries the long airframe section without competing with it, turning a piece of post-war aeronautical engineering into functional workshop furniture.
