Yamaha TW Flat Tracker
2001
The brief was simple: turn a Yamaha TW into a stripped-down, road-legal custom with the low, functional attitude of a flat-track paddock bike.
A fibreglass tail and leather seat sit on a compact hand-built subframe above the monoshock. The rest of the chassis was cleaned and simplified before the frame received a fine-textured powder-coated finish.
The engine was stripped, serviced and refinished. With the airbox removed, a hand-made stainless header and tunable SuperTrapp silencer give the little single the crisp look and sound the build needed.
